As part of the continuous effort to support industrial growth in Calgary, The City of Calgary is proposing 11 policy amendments to modernize three existing industrial Area Structure Plans. The scope of this project does not involve a complete update of the Area Structure Plans; instead, it is a targeted approach to improve specific policies, aiming to reduce barriers and align with current industrial trends. The proposed policy amendments primarily focus on land use and transportation-related policies, designed to enhance flexibility in future industrial development in the Area Structure Plans.
