Luke Stretch

Luke Stretch is an Associate at Bennett Jones LLP with a practice focused on commercial real estate and complex commercial transactions. He works closely with owners, developers, investors and tenants to structure and complete sophisticated real estate deals across multiple asset classes, including office, industrial, hospitality and development lands.

As a member of Bennett Jones’ National Leasing Group, Luke advises landlords, tenants and property managers on commercial leasing matters across the office, retail, industrial and education sectors. His work often involves navigating the legal and strategic considerations that arise during lease negotiations, helping clients balance risk management with practical deal execution.

Luke also advises on real property and project finance aspects of major industrial and infrastructure projects, including land procurement and regulatory processes. His experience includes working on significant Calgary developments and transactions involving REITs, developers, municipal corporations and institutional investors.

Beyond his legal practice, Luke is an active member of the Calgary Chapter of NAIOP, where he engages with industry leaders and remains closely connected to trends shaping the commercial real estate market.
