About Randy Magnussen:

Randy Magnussen has been active in the commercial real estate industry for more than 35 years. Most recently as an Executive Vice President at Bentall Kennedy LP where he made his mark on the industry with iconic, significant developments in Calgary and beyond. Randy acquired more than $500 million in real estate and developed more than 7 million square feet of space with projects including East Foothills Industrial Park, which boasts 2 million square feet of industrial space, Jamieson Place, a 38 storey 890,000 square foot building and Livingston Place, which is a two-building downtown property measuring 880,000 square feet. After a successful tenure of growth at Bentall Kenney, Randy became a consultant in 2008 for Bentall Kennedy and officially retired three years later but his retirement has been anything but idle. He started his own consulting company, R.Magnussen Consulting and he continues to be involved in the industry by sitting on various boards including Bentall Kennedy, Calgary Municipal Land Corporation, Casadona Investments and the Remington Charity Golf Classic.  In 2018 Randy was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at Calgary’s REX Awards.
