Kelsen Vallee, Managing Director, Co-Head of Energy Infrastructure & Transition Group with CIBC Capital Markets will be joining us to provide an update on current energy transition projects including net-zero grid implications, hydrogen facts and fictions, and industrial heat applications. Kelsen Vallee co-leads CIBC’s Energy, Infrastructure & Transition Group with offices in Canada, the U.S. and Europe.  He is responsible for directing activities and growth in the areas such as energy transition infrastructure, power and climate tech.  Kelsen also directly provides investment banking services such as capital raising, M&A and strategic advisory for his energy infrastructure clients predominantly based in Western Canada.

Darshpreet Bhatti, CEO Green Line, City of Calgary. Get the latest news any updates on the Green Line LRT project from the Green Line CEO. Darshpreet is leading all aspects of the Green Line LRT project, including initial construction currently underway downtown, Victoria Park and other areas of the city to support the project.

Ryan Handley, Vice President of Office Leasing with Brookfield Properties and NAIOP Calgary’s Board of Director. Ryan is co-chairing the Downtown Safety Task Force and will provide a brief update on the current situation in downtown Calgary and surrounding areas, the BOMA Safety Survey and results, proposed City of Calgary initiatives, and how NAIOP Calgary is trying to help.
