Scott Boyd
Scott Boyd is the Superintendent, South Division for Calgary Police Service. Superintendent Boyd is a 25-year member and currently leads the Community Policing South Division for the Calgary Police Service. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (#278) in Quantico, VA and holds a Masters of Management & Public Administration. He has enjoyed a diverse career in policing with positions in Patrol, Mountain Bike Unit, Undercover Operations, Criminal Intelligence Section, HR and Training Section, District Commander and Chief’s Executive Officer. He is a certified Restorative Justice Facilitator and has trained and deployed as a Crisis Negotiator. He also served as the Interim Deputy Chief for the Lethbridge Police Service for 4 months in 2021/2022 as part of a Provincial secondment.
Christa Gilroy
Christa Gilroy is the Manager Strategic Content with the Government of Alberta, Seniors, Community and Social Services (SCSS.) Christa has worked for the past 13 years with the Homeless Supports and Housing Stability branch in SCSS, overseeing funding and supports to communities in Alberta to address homelessness. Christa provided a leadership role in the start up of the Navigation and Support Centre in Edmonton in January 2024, and then in Calgary in July 2024
Taylor Holtrof
Taylor Holtorf is an Outreach Program Director for Alpha House, overseeing the downtown portfolio. This includes leading multiple outreach teams with different designations in the downtown corridor, supporting business improvement areas (BIAs), and coordinating responses to 211/911 calls within District 1. Taylor started with Alpha House in 2020 in Lethbridge, where she worked in the shelter and the COVID-19 response program, which later evolved into transitional housing. In 2022, she moved to Calgary to manage the Northeast Outreach portfolio, focusing on Outreach partnership teams with Bylaw and Transit. By 2023, she transitioned to her current role in the downtown core. Taylor is passionate about harm reduction, community engagement, and outreach solutions. She is committed to having a meaningful impact in the lives of those Alpha House serves and she is dedicated to achieve the ultimate goal of a safer community for everyone
Mark Trimble
Mark Trimble is the Leader, Downtown Investments with the Downtown Strategy team at the City of Calgary. Mark has been with The City for 11 years now, primarily working with Assessment & Tax valuing properties across the city and asset types and managing various teams of assessors. His focus was mainly Calgary’s downtown office market but has valued residential, retail and office properties across the city. He joined the Downtown Strategy team in January 2025 and is currently overseeing the Downtown Calgary Development Incentive Program and managing its various office to residential conversion projects
Celina Waight
Celina Waight is the Strategy Lead for the Community Safety and Wellbeing Priority team, one of the seven key corporate priorities at The City of Calgary. In her role, Celina collaborates closely with Kay Choi, who oversees and directs all activities and implementations for this priority. A large focus of the Community Safety & Wellbeing team is ensuring delivery of the Downtown Safety Leadership Table 28 recommendations that are aimed at improving safety and vibrancy in the downtown. Celina has a longstanding commitment to the safety and wellbeing of Calgarians in her previous roles as a Community Peace Officer, and Business Strategist in community services.
