Greg is President & COO of Aspen
Properties Ltd., a fully-integrated, privately held real estate company based
in Calgary. Together with
investment partners, Aspen owns and manages approximately $600 million in
assets, comprising of 2.0 million square feet of downtown office space in the
cities of Calgary and Edmonton. The
current portfolio consists of six buildings in downtown Calgary which includes
the recently constructed 300,000 square foot Palliser South office tower and
just under a million square feet of “A” class office space on the drawing board
for development in the Calgary market. In
addition, Aspen recently acquired 2 “A Class” office buildings in downtown
Edmonton, totaling 800,000 square feet. Other
corporate investments are in Belize.
Aspen was founded in 1998 and has approximately 75 employees today.
Greg joined Aspen in 2001 and as
President and Chief Operating Officer has since been responsible for real estate
acquisition, disposition, asset management, property management and
leasing. Greg is also a Director and Co-owner
of Aspen.
Greg holds an HBA in Business
Administration, with Honours, from The Richard Ivey School of Business at the
University of Western Ontario and was previously employed with TrizecHahn
Properties Ltd. and Knowlton Realty Ltd.
