I just wanted to let you all know that the proposed industrial bylaw
amendments were approved today by Council. They will come into effect on
December 14, 2009.
There were no changes to Administration's recommendations; however, we were
directed to do more work regarding noise and odour issues where industrial
interfaces with residential. If any of you have an expertise in this area
let me know and we may call on you again for your assistance.
Thank you everyone again. I really appreciated your time and effort and
especially your patience. I hope you'll find the new industrial framework
provides the certainty and flexibility you asked for in the beginning.
We'll continue to monitor and adjust where necessary.
Respectfully,
Nelson Medeiros, MEDes
